In the Texarkana College Community Music School, professional teachers from the community offer the highest level of instruction to students of all ages. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to perform in recitals. Lessons are given each week. Tuition is due before your first class of the month.

Are you looking for a simple graphic design tool? Canva is a FREE user-friendly platform used to create social media graphics, presentations, posters, flyers, invitations, and numerous other visual content. Participants will learn how to create any design from start to finish with step-by-step instruction and assistance. At the end of the class, students will be able to identify and select relevant content, merge images and text through typography, and resize/export images for digital marketing platforms. Come have a cup of cocoa and make some handmade ornaments for your tree or for gifts. You will be taking home five handmade ornaments to keep or give as gifts. We will be using paint, glitter, glue, collage papers, yarn, and ribbon. All supplies included!
This course is designed for students who have had any type of experience with oils. Students will continue to learn various paint application techniques and color mixing theories to provide a strong foundation for creating portfolio-quality work. This course offers instruction in a variety of genres including landscapes, portraits, and still life. In addition, class exercises encourage students to confidently experiment to find their own direction and style.

Come join the fun and learn the basics of line dancing. We will review some popular basic line dance steps and you will learn several fun dances, so you can join in at your next outing or party. Line Dancing is great exercise and perfect for any age/fitness level.
