DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Dr. Catherine Howard \n\n\n\nThis class\, adapted from Bogart and Peters’ 21 Songs in 6 Days: Learn Ukulele the Easy Way\, will take novice students through the history and anatomy of the ukulele and includes how to buy a uke\, holding\, strumming\, tuning\, singing along\, and chords C\, Am\, F\, G7\, C7. \n\n\n\nYou will have all the tools to play dozens of songs after this 2.5-hour session! Playing the ukulele is easy\, fun\, and addictive! This class is appropriate for age levels 10-100 and is guaranteed to make you smile! You can’t buy happiness\, but you can buy a ukulele. That’s pretty close! A binder with PowerPoint slides\, handouts\, and our songbook\, as well as snacks\, are included.
