Athletic games

Athletic Games & More with Jason Boston

Ready for an afternoon of play and movement? In Athletic Games & More,  students will participate in athletic games such as basketball, relays, dodgeball, hula hoop and jump rope contest, kickball, soccer, volleyball, and more. Two hours of field day fun!

Re-enacting crime scene investigation

CSI Kidz with Chief Stephen Gass

Love to solve mysteries? Become a Crime Scene Investigator on the case in CSI Kidz! Students will learn how to “follow the evidence” and think like a crime scene investigator in this fun, informative, and interactive science class. Students will be presented with an unsolved crime scene case and will learn to follow the scientific steps toward solving the mystery. Topics will include evidence collection, securing a crime scene, diagramming a crime scene, how to take fingerprints, and understanding DNA evidence that will help them work as a team to solve the crime.

Kid Chefs

Introduction to Culinary Arts with Chef Sheila Lynn – Week 1

Put on your chef’s hat and let’s get cooking! In Introduction to Culinary Arts, students will learn skills from certified culinary arts instructors in a commercial kitchen. Proper handling of kitchen tools and other kitchen safety will be taught, and students will get hands-on culinary training in cuisines from all over the world – Italian, Mexican, and even State Fair food!  Your culinary adventure awaits!


Journalism with Braden Brown

Journalism is all about finding the truth and sharing it with the world! In this course students will learn how to gather and share the news through print, radio, and video news reporting. Students will also learn the ins-and-outs of the news writing style, personal interviews, and more!

Martial Arts

Karate Kids with Chris Atnip

Karate Kids is designed to improve a student’s confidence while teaching basic self-defense skills! Skills include basic stances for balance, movement, power, blocking, and striking. This course teaches flexibility, strength, and cardio through martial arts drills and games. Focus, discipline, and confidence will be emphasized with real-world situational awareness and focus.
