Connected Security aims to provide an understanding of cybersecurity principles through the lens of Connectivism Learning Theory. This course emphasizes the interconnected nature of modern security challenges and solutions while exploring the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on our digital society.
Learning Objectives
- Understand Connectivism Learning Theory: Learners will comprehend the Connectivism learning theory and its relevance in our digital society.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity Principles and AI: Learners will acquire knowledge of core cybersecurity principles and understand AI’s diverse impacts across various sectors.
- Cybersecurity Landscape and Digital Protection: Learners will grasp the current cybersecurity landscape and learn strategies to protect their digital well-being.
- Course Feedback and Evaluation: Learners will evaluate and provide feedback on the course to aid in the instructional design process.
Additionally, the instructor will conduct research to assess learners’ current cybersecurity practices and gather feedback to improve the instructional design process. (see flyer below).
