Let’s Talk About Kids is being conducted to provide information to families and children who are affected by divorce. The seminar is open to all persons concerned with family separation. Attendance is mandated for divorcing parents by the Bowie County District Courts.
Seminar Goals

Class will meet Tuesdays & Thursdays for four weeks.
This class is for ages 16 & up
Kajukenbo is a complete, no-nonsense self-defense system utilizing the most applicable techniques of Tang Soo Do, Judo, Jujitsu, Kempo and Kungfu. You will receive disciplined, focused, real-world training from instructors with a combined 50 plus years in Martial Arts. The physical benefits of our class are profound; as students learn martial arts they will also improve cardio, strength, and flexibility. Confidence in one’s self and abilities are gained through training. We also have leadership with additional black belts and instructors in Boxing, Kickboxing, Taekwondo, Shaolin Kenpo, & Sil Lum Kung Fu to add additional depth to your training.
A late fee of $20 will be assessed for payments made after the final enrollment date.
This class is for students ages 5-15.

Kenpo kids uses innovative, age-level-appropriate methods and just the right amount of fun to teach our young students life and physical skills that will benefit them now and as they grow into adults.
This program develops the essential physical skills for self-defense like coordination, speed, power, flexibility, timing, balance, and endurance through the practice of forms, self-defense techniques, ground fighting, basic blocking, kicking, striking drills, and sparring, while enhancing their confidence, increasing their independence and offering them healthy, balanced solutions to conflict, bullying, peer pressure, strangers and negative environmental influences.
Our kid’s martial arts program is the perfect companion to help you raise strong, confident leaders, teaching confidence, focus & self-defense skills. Equip them with the tools to succeed in the real world with Kenpo Karate. We play and have fun while still applying limits and boundaries of good behavior. Kids are taught to be accountable for their actions while getting the structure they crave in an environment that’s supportive, educational, and fun.
Instructors: Christopher Atnip, 2nd degree Black Belts in Kajukembo Karate and Jujtisu and Curtis Chambers 7th Degree Black Belt in Kajukembo Karate. Texarkana College is a certified Jeet Kune Do training center.
This 14-week program is provided in a hybrid format, which combines online interactive lectures, hands-on classroom sessions for skills and scenario practice. It also includes clinical rotations in the hospital setting and on an ambulance. When completed, the candidate will be prepared to take the National Registry EMT exam and apply for state licensure. The specifics, regarding computer capability, will be provided prior to registration to ensure candidates have adequate availability for successful completion of online requirements.
