Stretch and Strengthen

Medical professionals recommend deep stretching and strength training as key to longevity and quality of life. Designed with women forty-five and over in mind, this class is for anyone who wants to begin or continue a stretching and light-weight strength training regimen. The intention of the class is for students to increase flexibility, mobility, range of motion, and strength. Wear clothing that you will be comfortable getting on the floor and stretching in and be prepared to take off your shoes. Email with questions: Tonja.Mackey@texarkanacollege.edu

Materials needed: Yoga Mat, Set of 2-,3-, or 5 pound hand weights (dumbbells)

This Class will meet on Tuesday and Thursdays nights from 5:30-6:30pm for six weeks.
