Phlebotomy Technician

Fall registration begins Tuesday, July 20, 2021 – Call 903-823-3384 to register or visit us in the Nelson Administration building.

This 170-hour Phlebotomy Technician Program prepares professionals to collect blood specimens from clients for the purpose of laboratory analysis. Students will become familiar with all aspects related to blood collection and develop comprehensive skills to perform venipunctures completely and safely. Classroom and lab work includes terminology, anatomy and physiology; blood collection procedures; specimen hands-on practice; and training in skills and techniques to perform puncture methods.

Classes will be held Monday & Wednesday; Sept. 20, 2021 – Dec. 6, 2021 6:00 p.m. – 9:30p.m. including 90 hours classroom + 80 hours externship 12 wks. – Saturday’s: 10/2, 10/23, 11/13 from 9 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

$1865 includes textbooks, certification exam study guides & online practice exams, plus an 80 hour externship
