Hey, Pickleballers! Looking for a fun and competitive way to spend your Friday nights? You’ve come to the right place! Join us for the Spring Pickleball League happening at Texarkana College.

We will host 8 mixed doubles teams, so be sure to register with a partner — and don’t wait, because spots will fill up fast!

🗓 League Dates:
March 27, 2026 – April 24, 2026 (5 weeks)
Friday Nights | 5:30 PM – 8:15 PM

🎾 League Format:

  • Weeks 1–4: Round-robin play to 11 points
    • Each team plays 7 competitive games every week!
  • Week 5: Playoffs
    • Top 6 teams advance
    • Top 2 teams receive a first-round bye
    • Playoff matches are best 2 out of 3

💲 Cost: $25 per person

Beginner Basic Computer Skills 🖥️

This beginner‑friendly course is perfect for anyone who wants to feel more confident using a computer. Students will learn the basics, including using a mouse and keyboard, understanding the desktop, opening programs, and working with files and folders.

We’ll also cover essential everyday skills such as browsing the internet, using email, typing and formatting documents, and staying safe online. Optional topics—like spreadsheets, cloud storage, and smartphone basics—may be included if time allows.

No prior experience needed—just come ready to learn!

Sewing Something More! 🧵

In this class, we’ll build on the basics of sewing while creating fun, practical projects! Students will make pajama bottoms, envelope‑style pillow covers, snack mats, and zipper pouches.

A basic understanding of sewing is required, along with access to a full‑size sewing machine.Texarkana College also has two sewing machines available to borrow if needed—just let us know ahead of time!

Spring Buttercream Cookie Decorating🐣

Come join us for a sweet and creative experience led by our very own Instructor of Culinary Arts here at Texarkana College – Ashley Weems!

Each student will receive six pre‑baked sugar cookies and learn how to mix their own icing colors, make buttercream, fill piping bags, and decorate step‑by‑step.

Students will take home a box of their beautifully decorated cookies along with their apron. Designs for this class include adorable spring‑themed creations (pictured here!).

Kajukenbo is a practical, no-nonsense self‑defense system that blends the most effective techniques from Tang Soo Do, Judo, Jujitsu, Kenpo, and Kung Fu. Our students receive disciplined, focused, real‑world training from instructors with more than 50 years of combined martial arts experience.

Along with learning solid self‑defense skills, students see major physical benefits—improved cardio, increased strength, and greater flexibility. Confidence grows naturally as technique and ability develop.
