Learn to Design with Canva is a beginner-friendly Zoom workshop designed to help you create eye-catching graphics with confidence.

In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to use Canva to design social media posts, flyers, presentations, custom invitations, and promotional materials using templates, fonts, colors, and images.

Perfect for small business owners, students, educators, and anyone who wants to level up their design skills—no experience needed.

Taught by Dori Ballard, who uses Canva every day in her role as Digital Marketing, SEO & Communications Specialist here at Texarkana College.

Please keep in mind that this is an online Zoom class. You’ll need a Zoom account to join. We’ll send the Zoom link to you before the class starts.

Line dancing is a fantastic way to express yourself, stay active, and enjoy great music—all while getting a workout that’s suitable for all ages and fitness levels. In this hands-on workshop, participants will decorate six pre-baked cookies while learning the basics of working with royal icing — including outlining, flooding, and adding detailed finishing touches. This class is open to all ages and skill levels, and all supplies are provided.

You’ll leave with beautifully decorated cookies to take home and enjoy or share with loved ones!

Disclosure: This class is limited to returning students only. New students must complete the introductory oil painting course before enrolling, as this session builds on previously learned foundational techniques.

This 5‑week course is designed for returning students who are ready to continue developing their oil painting skills. Building on prior instruction, the class focuses on refining personal style, exploring advanced techniques, and strengthening conceptual thinking.
