Texarkana College is proud to partner with Graham Slam Bakery to offer a fun, Cinco de Mayo – themed Cookie Decorating Classes! 🪅

In this hands-on workshop, participants will decorate six pre-baked cookies while learning the basics of working with royal icing — including outlining, flooding, and adding detailed finishing touches. This class is open to all ages and skill levels, and all supplies are provided.

You’ll leave with beautifully decorated cookies to take home and enjoy or share with loved ones!

Cake Decorating 101

April 10, 2025 @ 6:00 pm – May 1, 2025 @ 8:00 pm

In this class you will learn about baking the perfect cake and how to make decorator Icing. You will also learn about the three pillars of cake decorating, as well as how to use couplers, types of decorating bags and how to fill them.   Several decorating techniques, including the Wilton Rose, different uses for different types of tips including petal tip, open and closed star tips, round tips, borders and more will be taught.  (Recipes included)
